Some heroes are the military men and women who protect us, some are the police and firefighters, others are non-paid volunteers who help in anyway they can.  You can be a hero just by speaking out against crime or violence.  You can be a hero by helping someone in financial need. You can be a hero by being a role model or just by helping to keep your community clean.  There are endless ways to be a hero.
